Grand Rental Station in Branson West has the tools you need to get the job done, whether it be commercial or residential.

The full-service rental store provides everything from hammer drills, scaffolding and forklifts, to lawn and garden supplies, such as Gravely lawnmowers, carports, UTVs and everything in between, according to Owner Harold Brox.

“Our most popular item is the rock breaker — we are in Stone County,” he joked, continuing, “sewer snakes are surprisingly popular. And people often come in for skid steers and backhoes.”

The company also offers small engine repair on a limited basis.

“We’re more commercial-oriented when it comes to repairs, but we can service just about anything,” said Manager Joe Norris.

As an added bonus, anything available for rent is also for sale.

The idea for Grand Rental Station was born out of humble beginnings.

“When I moved here, I thought I wanted to be in the mini-storage business,” he said. “So I bought this property and the property below for storage, but it was all trees and grass. I wanted to brushhog it and asked where you could rent a mower and tractor. I was told there wasn’t anywhere nearby, and that’s what started the idea for a rental store.”

Brox said some rental stores in the area focus on large equipment, “but we have a lot of the small stuff the big stores don’t have.”

Grand Rental Station will also pick up or deliver anything you need.

Norris said the company serves everyone from the biggest contractor to the smallest vacationer, who might just need to rent a lawnmower or weedeater while they’re in the area.

As if all that weren’t enough, on-site Branson West Storage has 252 storage units, with climate-controlled units available in four sizes. It is a gated facility with 24-hour electronic keypad access and video surveillance. The company also offers U-Haul truck rentals and moving supplies.
