A limited number of spots are still open for Kampout, a day camp affiliated with Kanakuk Kamps.

Kampout is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 5-8 at Woodland Hills Family Church.

Kampout Director Garrett Perkins said this year’s theme is focused on “God’s Greatest Treasures.”

“It’s focusing on the good news that God treasures his people,” Perkins said. “God treasures every single child. He created them to follow him and be like him.”

The price to enroll is $188, Perkins said. Day-campers get to enjoy more than a dozen activities, including a rockwall, zip line, archery, water slides, obstacle course and more.

“Kampout brings the high energy and impact experience of our overnight camps to Branson,” he said.

Kampout travels to several states to offer a day camp experience for communities.

“We are in six states,” Perkins said. “Last year, we were only in five. We’ve added 10 locations.”

Perkins has served as director for three years.

“We run a very similar program every year,” Perkins said. “The biggest difference is that we’ve grown.”
