The Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society has a wish list.

Donations needed for animal care operations are: dry cat food (they currently use Iams), dry dog food (Iams proactive currently used), kitten food and powdered formula, cat litter (clumping or paper).

Other items needed are: live animal traps such as Tomahawk for feral cat spay/neuter, Frontline Plus or Advantage for monthly flea/tick prevention, collapsible dog crates, Feliway spray and diffusers, dog treats, new halters and collars, and new 6-feet nylon leashes.

Disposable gloves, paper towels and Nature’s Miracle are also needed.

They can use office materials, such as stamps for fundraising mailings, envelopes and gift certificates from Petco, PetSmart, Target, Walmart and Office Depot.

Corporate and individual sponsorships help with general monthly expenses. They are available in five categories.

Kennel care includes a sign on the kennel at $25 per month for cats, and $50 per month for dogs.

Veterinary sponsorships with a sign in the facility are $350 a year per cat and $250 a year per dog.

Full sponsorship of a particular animal is $300 per dog and $150 per cat.

Memorial donations are recognized on the Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society Facebook page.
