Volleyball districts began on Thursday. Hollister, School of the Ozarks, Branson and Reeds Spring all played in the first round of their respective district tournaments.

Earlier this week each team ended their regular season.

Branson suffered a tough loss to 26-3-1 Willard on Monday. Willard won in three sets, 25-10, 25-15, 25-13. The Pirates ended the regular season 7-20-4.

Hollister, which has had a tough season with a young team, defeated East Newton on Tuesday as part of the Big 8 Crossover Games. Hollister won 25-19, 25-19, 18-25, 25-21 to end the regular season 5-21-3.

Reeds Spring faced Seneca in its Big 8 Crossover Game, winning 3-0 — 25-10, 25-15, 25-17. The Lady Wolves ended the regular season 16-10-2.

Forsyth and Blue Eye played each other for a battle to the finish on Monday. Blue Eye came out with the 3-2 win. The Lady Bulldogs won Set 1, 2 and 5 for the win. Each set was decided by five points or less. Blue Eye ended the regular season with a 16-7-2 record.

Forsyth went on to play Crane the next day and ended the regular season with a 3-0 win for a 25-4-1 regular season record.

School of the Ozarks lost in three sets to Sparta on Tuesday and ended the season with a 10-16-4 record.
