Hollister couldn’t get on the scoreboard Friday for the second time this season, as the Tigers were handled by Springfield Catholic 35-0.

Hollister fell behind 21-0 in the first half.

The Tigers opened the second half by reaching the Irish’s four-yard line. But incompletions on third- and fourth-downs ended the drive.

Hollister was held to 93 yards of total offense, 48 yards passing and 45 yards and receiving. Landon Farquhar had a pair of receptions for 24 yards.

Catholic intercepted three passes.

Defensviely, the Tigers’ Jenner Steele collected a pair of quarterback sacks, while Logan Narvaez was in on nine tackles and Jesse Wright and Josh Neville eight.

Hollister (2-5 overall and 0-5 in the COC Small Schools Division) has lost five straight.
