Branson’s volleyball team recorded 11 aces in its 25-7, 25-7 whipping of Neosho on Tuesday.

The Lady Pirates’ Kayli Nimmo and Keaton Wilczynski both had three aces and Morgan LeBlanc and Grace Dean both had two. 

LeBlanc and Abby Settles contributed four kills apiece.

Lady Pirates win big

Branson’s softball team exploded for a season-high 18 hits in its 15-0 romp of Carl Junction on Tuesday.

Lauren Garrison homered, while Cat Ford drove in five runs on a pair of hits and Belleanne Johnson and Aly Smethers both pounded out three hits.

Ford was the winning pitcher. She threw a three-hitter.

Forsyth falls to Clever

Forsyth’s tennis team lost 6-3 to Clever Tuesday.

The Lady Panthers received a win at No. 5 singles from Sophie Hesketh, a win at No. 6 singles from Meadow Mardis and a win at No. 3 doubles from Hesketh and Mardis.

Lady Wolves beat Aurora

Reeds Spring’s softball team scored in each of the first five innings of its 9-3 triumph over Aurora on Tuesday.

The Lady Wolves collected a dozen hits, with Mackenzie Duvall homering and going 3-for-4 with four RBIs and Izzy Erickson, Abby Rudd and Victoria Scobee all banging out a pair of hits.

Erickson struck out 14 and walked two while giving up five hits.
